Presta Valves for Tubeless Tires
Our Dirt Out Presta valves allow you to convert your Tubeless Ready tires to a tubeless setup. This system eliminates the need for an inner tube, making the tires lighter and safer. To do this, you must first "tubelize" your rim and add sealing liquid to ensure the tire is airtight and prevent possible punctures.

How to Install Your Tubeless Valve
To install your tubeless valve, you must first ensure that your rim is Tubeless Ready. Next, you will need to "tubelize" the rim with tubeless tape, an adhesive tape that covers the inside of the rim, making it completely airtight.

At the valve hole, you must press the valve into place (you can also use an awl). Then, screw on the nut with the rubber gasket included with the tubeless valves.

Finally, mount the tire, and before finishing, add the sealing liquid (check the amount to be added according to your wheel size). Now, just inflate the tire to the correct pressure and rotate it so the tubeless liquid spreads and covers the entire interior of the tire.

What Size Tubeless Valve Should I Choose?
▶︎ 80mm Presta Tubeless Valve
This is the size used for road tires and gravel tires.

▶︎ 60mm Presta Tubeless Valve
This size is suitable for road tires and gravel tires. It is also used in high-profile carbon rims that mount mountain bike tires.

▶︎ 40mm Presta Tubeless Valve
This size is mainly used for mountain bike tires or MTB tires. It can also be used in rims without profiles for gravel or road bikes.

What are Mousse Valves and What Are They Used For?
At Eltin, you will also find Presta valves for Mousse. These valves are designed for tires that use foam or mousse instead of an inner tube. The foam fills the tire and allows you to ride at lower pressure than with conventional tubeless systems.

Mousse tubeless valves have two side holes that allow air to enter the tire without interfering with the foam.
