How to Clean Your Bike

Start with Water: If necessary, use water to remove larger dirt particles. However, avoid using high-pressure water as it can be damaging to some components. Only use pressure water when there is significant dirt buildup.

Use Dirt Out Cleaner / Degreaser: The best approach is to spray the Dirt Out cleaner/degreaser onto the pedals, frame, wheels, cogs, etc.

How to Apply the Cleaner / Degreaser

Spray the Cleaner: Apply the cleaner to the areas that need cleaning using the spray nozzle.
Scrub for Better Results: After applying, use a brush to scrub the surfaces and get a deeper clean.
Cleaning the Chain: Let the product sit for a few minutes on the drivetrain (gears, chainrings, cassette) so it can work effectively. Then rinse with water.
Optional: If you have a chain cleaning machine, fill the reservoir with the product and spin the cranks for a few minutes before rinsing.
Finish with Lubrication: After cleaning, apply Dirt Out lubricant to the chain to keep it running smoothly.
